Warning Signs That YOUR Soul Is Tired and Exhausted!

Hard to believe, but true: our soul can become exhausted and tired. It is used to a lot and can endure a lot if it has to, but at some point it also reaches the point where the batteries are empty and a reboot is urgently needed. If you notice some of the following signs that we are presenting in this article, your soul is also running on reserve.

1. The past is your present

A spiritual breakdown shows similar traits as psychological stress. Our brain then uses déjà vu to make us believe that we have been in this situation before and that everything is under control and in order. Our soul uses a similar mechanism when we are overtaxed. It lets itself wallow more in the past, although your life is actually taking place in the here and now.

2. You are caught up in self-criticism

Your soul is your most faithful companion and always by your side. It also protects you from harm, for example from the constantly nagging inner critic who never has a good word to say about you. If it now temporarily goes on strike, the door is opened to unbridled self-criticism. You are constantly struggling with yourself and your shortcomings and are hard on yourself.

3. Your power is not sufficient for others

You are actually a helpful person and always have an open ear for the concerns of your fellow human beings? Then it is certainly an alert signal when you can muster absolutely no nerve and no understanding for others. Your soul needs every energy for itself, and unfortunately there is none left for others at the moment.

4. Nobody loves you

This feeling suddenly accompanies you constantly. No one seems to want to spend time with you. All the events you were looking forward to are canceled and no one wants to call you. The feeling of not being loved is typical of a depression of the soul.

5. You find it hard to set boundaries

You have zero energy left for other people, but you can't even say no to them. You suddenly become a yes-man or yes-woman, although you are already at the limit of your resources. You simply lack the strength to distance yourself.

6. Lost in a haze

You spend your days in a daze. Every step feels as if someone has packed you in cotton wool overnight and sent you outside, well insulated from the world. This condition is quite typical when body and soul are not in sync. If they are in harmony with each other, we lead every fiber of our self and are completely with ourselves every minute. If you want to get rid of this waddling feeling quickly and easily, yoga is the remedy of choice for you. Guided meditation can also bring you quickly and gently back to your center.

7. Ambiguous anxiety controls you

You don't really know the feeling of anxiety. Nevertheless, at the moment everything seems to you to be connected with a risk. You weigh every step, no matter how small, and ultimately choose lethargy before you do something wrong. This uncertainty results from a weakened general mental state that clouds your judgment and makes you despondent. Unfortunately, this symptom weakens your drive so much that escaping the status quo seems impossible to you. To remain in this state seems to you to be the only right thing to do.

8. Physical exhaustion begins to creep in

When our soul is tired, our body follows suit. The two are one. Like Siamese twins, one half cannot be without the other. But this also requires that they can operate energetically at the same level. When the soul goes lame, the body can't help it and does the same. Unfortunately, exercise in the fresh air would be the first efficient way to do something good for your soul. However, you find it exceptionally difficult to get going and walk a few steps if they are not absolutely necessary.

9. You wonder what the future will bring

In addition to a general anxiety that cannot be defined in detail, you are increasingly worried about the future. You constantly imagine the worst scenarios and can no longer think positive thoughts. At some point, this mood of the end of time envelops you like a dark veil.

10. You feel like the black sheep

When your soul is burned out, you find it increasingly difficult to feel like you belong. No matter which people you meet, you simply cannot find your way in their midst. Everywhere you are out of place and feel like the bull in the china closet. You should not give in to this feeling. It is a snapshot that is due to your acute mental exhaustion. This too will pass.

11. You let others walk all over you

Your self-esteem is at zero, so other people are welcome to treat you badly. You simply have no strength to counteract. If the pillory of life is your new home, then it is surely because your psyche is not at its peak right now. Hang in there and don't take stupid sayings too much to heart.

12. A cloud seems to follow you

You don't even see your hand in front of your eyes when you look at your life? You have lost sight of yourself and everything else around you anyway? This fishing in the mud is typical for people who just don't have a strong fire in their soul that warms them and gives them the necessary perspective. The fog always lifts only when the sun shines again.

13. Excuses at work

You're not really a quitter, but at the moment excuses come more easily to your lips than a yes or no. Excuses are something like confessional games of interpersonal communication. They commit us to nothing and yet save face. In the case of mental burnout, they are a useful tool for avoiding pending decisions for a while. They are practical and versatile, but unfortunately not a permanent solution. When you can no longer believe your own lame arguments, you are in mental emergency mode.

14. You live your life at a distance

Long live non-commitment and freedom. That's what you think to yourself whenever you're not in the mood for interpersonal interaction. This demands commitment, our full attention and no small amount of life energy. You don't have all these things present whenever you are mentally exhausted and emotionally drained. Isolating yourself from the world seems to be the only viable alternative in these moments.

Today's Conclusion: First aid downtime

If you're experiencing several of these symptoms, it's time to take some time off. This includes not only professional and private obligations, but also your smartphone and all social media activities should be cut out. If at all possible, give yourself some time alone and spend it in nature. Nothing recharges our souls as quickly as direct contact with the elements. That's it for today.
