Be Sure to Do THESE Important Things NOW Before It’s Too Late and YOU Regret It!

Hardly anyone lives the privilege of following their dream. Most have at some point taken safe paths or have obeyed their mind but not their heart. Many of us are stuck for life in jobs that really only serve to make a living, but don't actually bring them any joy. Fulfillment definitely goes differently. Those who can then at least enjoy the happiness of a private life are at least 50 percent on the right track. The vast majority, however, sit permanently between two stools for the rest of their lives. They neither know what exactly they want from their lives, nor do they know their wishes and desires well enough to pay sufficient attention to them. Those who do know what they secretly want fail to realize it and find at least one con for every pro. Sometimes it's like being jinxed with self-realization. Nothing seems more obvious than it, and nothing more difficult to implement. If you find yourself in this dilemma, here are 7 crucial lessons for you that can take you at least 7 steps further.

1. The highest asset is your health

Without your health, you have nothing. You can control and influence many things in life. However, once you are seriously ill, you will realize how helpless this condition makes us. It also straightens our priorities and directs our attention to the essential things. But basically, we should realize all this before it is too late and we are confined to bed and helplessly at the mercy of the doctors' art. Next to time, health is the most precious commodity in life. We do not have an unlimited supply of both, and both can be over sooner than we would like. Nobody can control whether serious illnesses or accidents will bring about a decisive change of direction at some point. But we can do something ourselves to keep at least the well-known diseases of civilization and wealth away from us. These preventive measures will exclude some of the most widespread diseases from the very beginning.

2. Only those who never give up can win

The story of the great winners of our time is actually always a story of failure. The brilliant inventor Thomas Edison coined the saying, "I have not failed, I have only found 10,000 ways that do not work." If you get discouraged sometimes and would like to quit everything, check out the biographies of the highly successful people of our time. Want some examples? Stephen King's best-selling hit novel, Carrie, was rejected by more than 30 publishers before one recognized its potential. Steven Spielberg's admission to film school was denied three times in a row. Reason: Lack of talent. And when Walt Disney tried to attract investors for his first animation studio, he received over 300 rejections. What do we learn from this? Failure is inevitable when we strive for great things. But how we deal with it is 100% in our own hands. If you never give up and believe in yourself, eventually you will only win more.

3. Every moment is irretrievable

We often make the mistake of shifting all our hopes to the future. It doesn't hurt to visualize your dreams and paint them in the most brilliant colors. However, it is wrong to completely lose sight of and underestimate the present. According to John Lennon, life happens while we are making other plans. So don't miss it by either mourning the past or longing for the future. Both are out of your hands, but the present is. Here you can shape and be creative, take the reins in hand and go in any direction that makes sense to you. Live now and not in a "later" that may not even exist.

4. The journey is always better than the destination

Success is a great thing. But have you ever noticed how quickly the joy of it fades and the shiny wears off? The reason is simple: they are isolated events that don't take up much time. Savoring a victory lasts a few minutes, or including appropriate celebrations, perhaps hours or a day at most. But what has really fulfilled us all this time has been the process of getting there. This process can take a long time, including all the ups and downs imaginable. We may have a goal clearly in mind that we are working towards, but what constantly challenges and improves us, makes us grow and perform at our best, is the long and arduous journey to get there.

5. What you decide today determines your future

Our life consists of the sum of all decisions we have ever made. This mechanism cannot be changed, not even for the future. Anyone who drops out of education today will struggle with this decision for the rest of his life. Those who decide on a relationship, or a job, or friends, or a new place to live, will always be bound to those decisions for a longer time. The good news here is: It's possible to undo almost anything that, in retrospect, turned out to be suboptimal. Some things will be difficult and cost us more effort than the direct route, but we seldom truly miss out on something if we've made the wrong decision at one point.

6. He who hesitates has already lost

Maybe you know the saying, success has 3 letters: ACT. If there is one thing that no one can take away from us, it is the first step. No matter what you want to achieve, no matter where your dreams should lead you, everything, really everything starts with a first spark, a jump from the edge of the pool or a first contact. That push of the start button is like knocking over the first domino. Once in motion, the course of your life will follow this predetermined direction. But the impetus and initiative must come from you. What keeps us from dipping our toe in the deep end when we really want to swim the Atlantic is our own willpower, the strength of habit, and the false sense of security to which we still pay homage.

7. Doing what you love requires sacrifice

Very few people are granted the opportunity to make their passion their profession and their favorite pastime their bread and butter. Those who actually manage to work as an athlete, musician or artist and live their dream every day will very soon find out that this gift comes with a high price. There's never a guarantee of sustained success, and a cushy 38-hour workweek won't cut it either. An unwritten law dictates that living our dreams requires hard work and sacrifice.

Today's Conclusion: 7 steps towards the dream of a lifetime

Whatever you dream of, rest assured: Life is too short for someday or later. We live now, and this one existence on this planet may be short-lived. The sooner you actively work on getting closer to your desires, the better the chances are that you will one day be able to realize them. As the saying goes, don't dream your life, live your dream. Thanks a lot and see you soon.
